I wonder if this planet evolves another species in a couple of millions years capable of geology, what those future geologists will make of the extremely thin, yet strangely toxic layer of plastic, forever chemicals, asbestos, petroleum byproducts, concrete, and some radioactivity and whatnot that will be a layer of the earth from this time. 🤔
"What happened during that extremely brief time to leave such a thin, catastrophic mark on the geology of the earth?!" they might think to themselves, as they swim past the geologic samples they have unearthed....
