I have noticed a correlation between people being upset with me correctly identifying their behaviour and the continuance of said behaviour while complaining that their behaviour was identified.
I put this down to not being able to beat the shit out of people over the internet because what actually corrects bad behaviour is the threat and if nessicary actual consequences for being a dickhead.
And yes, I'm talking about you if you thought I was talking about you.
