"content": "Back to making ammo. I’m getting started on resizing my 1x fired brass for the 6.5 Creedmoor. Thinking back, I wish I had annealed all the brass before starting. It behaves very differently and better after annealing it. \n\nFor bolt guns I full length size with an S-Type die. I’m shooting for 0.004” headspace and using the Redding competition shell holders. They are staged in 0.002” increments and really speed up both finding the right headspace and setting up the press for consistent headspace between batches. You can do this without but competition shell holders are way faster and I’m glad I spent the money on them.
