That's weird, wild stuff...
Cell comms have gotten stranger than ever. In the last month alone I've received spam calls from China (nothing new there, but I don't speak Mandarin), a loud blaring Amber Alert at 11:30pm (turns out a mom took her own kid, false alarm), now today a reverse phishing attempt warning me that Iran might be trying to infiltrate my phone via SMS (which I hardly think is the case).
We've become overly cautious, judgemental and paranoid. I can't help but think this is all intentional and premeditated. As war drums beat and bankers loot, the public is set off balance. Scammers seize opportunity.
