That probably is part of the problem. Quite a few women here have blocked me as well, mostly because of disagreements on other political topics which have come up. I personally try not to block anyone (except if someone is harassing me or the like) because I like discussion, even with those I disagree with because it helps refine my thinking.

But I think that the main reason is a much deeper issue. And that's the general focus on the whole trans thing. Of course, it's insane. Everyone here knows it. The problem is that in many other online spaces that's something that can't be voiced so this place is used a a release valve for that, especially because many women are pretty desperate about it all. It's also one of the few things everyone here agrees on so you indeed get a lot of positive feedback. And then you get the classic social media feedback loop.

I however don't think that that's the only issue with the trans topic. I think that it also is something that has a lot of media presence and, fundamentally, is a pretty simple situation. Other feminist topics either aren't discussed at all or are, to some extent, more broadly accepted.
