There's very few that I think can accurately talk about this from a building/app perspective. Unfortunately for public opinion, the ordinals crew are probably the only people experimenting with it actively rn. When it comes to softforks, I'll only respect actual practical demonstrations of building on top before forking, and unless there's real world use cases I care about with working demonstrations, I don't care to support any particular fork and will default to none.

I just don't see any progress towards one or another without that. And if it's only the builders on ordinals pushing the boundaries, then I doubt other bitcoiners will care about it either.
