I don't disagree with your sentiment but I don't think hosting an exclusive event for active core contributors is a bad idea. Anyone is able to contribute to bitcoin core. You get an invite if you can show proof of work. Right to self-assembly is protected in the constitution for a reason.
Doxxing those invitees to the feds...fucking yikes. The men with guns strike again.
