Being an antifascist, means opposing fascism; no matter the personal cost.
It does not mean "I am generally against fascism, but if my life is at stake, I will quickly become a bootlicking collaborator and knowing this, I will defend other collaborators in advance."
Antifascism, is about RESISTING fascism. And that has a cost. You pay it, because the cost of NOT paying it, is so much higher, for so many more people.
