Calm down nigga I was half joking, boys obviously require love and protection as well. But unlike girls they can very easily end up coddled and useless, which is exactly what ended up happening to many millennial men and those raised in single mom households.
It's a fine line but you have to make sure your sons are capable of independent thought and assertive action by letting them do their own thing, but also make sure they don't end up callous sociopaths by making sure they know they're loved from time to time.
