funny you brought up aliens - more than a few of us believe the notion of an alien invasion against the earthings will be an attempt to unite people and bring in a one world religion based on technocratic values.
Who is bothering you with their beliefs? Jews don't proselytize, Muslims do but not in yer face & the Christians I knew when I leaned agnostic / Celtic were always respectful. Maybe it's regional?
