here's how I do it.
I hand grind the beans (Atlas Coffee), then I use the upsidedown method with two filters. First, one scoop of coffee then I pour about half full with water at 209F. I stir and wait 45 seconds. Then another half scoop is added, stirred, and I fill the press with water and screw on the filter holder. I wait another 15 seconds then place the press right side up on my cup. After another 30sec I press and consume.
