All I did was link to Anil’s (very good!) post on the idea. Full credit to Dave for both RSS itself, parlaying RSS’s original momentum into the creation of podcasting, and for Dave’s continuing evangelism of podcasting as the exemplar of the open internet.

I blog and I podcast, completely independently. My entire career stands on Dave’s shoulders.
