THE MOB IS ATTACKING JULIE BINDEL
There are a group of young rad fems who are using a gross distortion of the term "political lesbian" to attack older leftist Lesbians. Julie Bindel has been a prime target this week.
A Slightly Twisted Female (Brittany RouXX Ortiz) seems to be leading the charge. What a homophobic woman currently in a heterosexual relationship would know about what a "political lesbian" is I don't know. Maybe it's how she deals with all her internalized misogyny and xenophobia. Her irrational mob of followers have even attempted to smear most of the Second Wave Radical Lesbian Separtists who came to Radical Feminism through a Marxist analysis.
There seems to have been a concerted effort to discredit any woman even slightly left of center in the gender critical movement with a specific emphasis on Lesbians and gay men. It seems to be coming from Jennifer Thomas who has a lot of influence on Brittany, but I'm sure there's an even deeper political agenda behind it.
Julie Bindel wisely didn't respond this time, but I found an old thread from 2019 where she summarized the young rad fem political lesbian derangement syndrome nicely.

She's saying that women who sleep with TIMs are valid lesbians. Brittany RouXX is claiming that she said that men can be lesbians, but unfortunately just can't find the clip. Hmm
The clip looks very old and the vast majority of the women who are attacking her either used to be TIFs or believed all the trans cult dogma wholeheartedly at some point in their lives. They're probably overcompensating for some guilt about their past gullibility and are trying to cover for it by launching a militant witch hunt for a very distorted definition of "political lesbian."
I wish I could snap my fingers and just make that term go away from all human memory - that and "purity spiral, bad faith, the house is on fire, head girl, mean girl and nuanced." Then maybe we could have a productive conversation for a change.
There's been so much damage done to this movement by emotional young women, I don't know if it can ever recover and come together long enough to start the grassroots activism that should have been started several years ago.
All the efforts at White House call-ins, letter writing campaigns and TwittXr storms have failed miserably. The younger women are at each other's throats all the time over one misunderstanding after another. It's almost impossible to get GC women to take any political action, but it's easy to get nearly 10,000 to watch Brittany RouXX attack a woman for their physical appearance or her sexuality. And the vast majority of women online remain completely silent about it.
