I think the issue boils down to juxtaposition of character. Real men and “beta” men differ on integrity. A real man is going to be kind, protective, attentive, and generous but those things will come out naturally.
Betas project those things but it’s a fascade. They’re nice instead of kind, aggressive instead of protective, hypersexual instead of doting, and bombastic instead of generous. Evolution doesn’t favor them. They’ve just managed to weaken the gene pool.
Men like to talk about how some male behavior like being kind, protective, doting, and generous is "beta", but look at which men have wives and kids.
Turns out, evolution favors those "betas".
