I don’t think that’s shallow thinking. I love the idea of free markets. I wish we lived in them.

I probably tend to be more cautious about new things than most. Put another way, I tend to try to solve problems before they exist—even if they might never exist. Money tends to change behavior. New tech changes behavior. A double helix of money and tech together will certainly change behavior. It’s people’s right: no one should get in their way—still, I have my caution about such a change.
