Holy shit Ubisoft is going downhill... fast.
When did games become political mouthpieces? (Besides "Just say No" slogans thrown before all our beloved arcade games in the 80s and 90s). Now the actual game's stories, narratives and studios are being smacked with this sort of thing.
Saw this written in the comments of a vid I watched earlier and I agree. These gamers gotta wake tf up. Even during my covid-battling dreams of the past week, I had some strange ones involving this subject matter. What scares me most is the lack of ability for 'influencers' in the space to do much about it.
It's interesting too... it's the most PASSIONATE and hardcore OG gamers I know that are trying to understand this issue at play and it's long-term implications for the gaming industry and Hollywood and Entertainment.
