Reading about all the lawlsuits launched in the 70's to "integrate" or rather impose affirmative action hiring policies on the Philadelphia police force. First with Penelope Brace and the NAACP, then the Latinx moved in to get their quotas. The biggest opponents to female police empowerment were the organizations of police officer wives. As I'm reading their 1970's comments about how the promotion of female officers to unsuitable positions will imperil officer and public safety, all I can think about is Lady Taser.
