Have thought about this a lot recently. The political extremes on both sides are so nauseating. Ending up on either of those sides can be avoided by:
- Questioning
- Verifying
- Building trusting relationships once verified
There’s truth and value in nearly every ideology and viewpoint. Finding that truth and value begins with questioning everything.
Question everything and everyone.
This has to become a habit. It never feels natural or even logical as our human need to "trust" is very powerful.
What helps is company of critical thinkers in both real and online life.
This task alone is a challenge.
