Thanks, that image is really useful to conceptualise the whole pre-history of Bitcoin. And perhaps begs the question of how the #cypherpunk lineage has continued and will continue after the 2008 launch of #Bitcoin? A plurality of inputs begs the question of a plurality of outputs. Not everything in the Bitcoin space is cypherpunk; not all cypherpunk is Bitcoin. This from the Wikipedia entry feels like a useful credo: "The list had a range of viewpoints and there was probably no completely unanimous agreement on anything. The general attitude, though, definitely put personal privacy and personal liberty above all other considerations."
