the plastic on all the transparent TWSBIs is the same, and they’re all prone to cracking. (Apart from Go which is a different material.) I would not say the Vac700R is an “upgrade” per se. It’s just a different pen from the Eco.
What are you looking for in a pen? Ink capacity, what nib, filling system, barrel width? Maybe we can give you some suggestions.
