I would really know in what grounds to follow a denomination tbh. Catholicism is familiar to me, church of England can be the most alien to me (not to mention that some of tbese churches seem like social clubs for Liberal Democrats rather than anything religious - not all obviously but often). There's a nice greek orthodox church near me which I like visiting, but I believe the mass is in greek, the UK doesn't really have much of an english-speaking orthodox presence, not compared to the US. But perhaps not speaking greek is a bit like not speaking Latin and going to a Latin mass?

In what basis would you select a church to attend, even? Proximity to home? Sermons not heavy on secular liberal talking points? Congregation? A general feeling?

I really don't know tbh #asknostr #ask #christian nostr #godstr
