Too often when I mention it, like to my parents etc, there's a massive amount of tension. I can only imagine it's what you'd get if you decided to support Al Qaeda. Or if you were promoting the KKK, or... you know, something like that. Like you've brought up some taboo subject that threatens them or what they know in some threatening way. Was the same deal with them with not taking dangerous experimental vaccines. But that's not the worst, because you can just not mention Bitcoin, or facts general, to close family and still get along.

What's worse is when you mention it to people you meet, and a smile comes across their face, and they think you're stupid. They don't know anything about anything, but they're sure you're wrong about everything.
