Probably one of the dumbest things I've ever heard from the MCU was when Vision gave a pro-pacificist argument that "strength invites conflict" during Captain America Civil War, which implies the inverse: that weakness invites peace. Then later turns full blown authoritarian against Scarlet because her powers were too scary for normal people.
Honestly, I wasn't saddened at all by what Thanos did to him later. If he had been killed a fifth time, I probably would had laughed.
Still, for Scarlet to invest so much of herself into such a douchebag after what he did to her probably makes it the second dumbest thing I've seen in the MCU before the rest of it really went to crap.
Scarlet and Vision, imo, are probably the most unbelieveable, paradoxical couple ever concocted.
