I almost kicked a coworker's ass today at work.
this coworker left "his" gloves, gloves that work provides for us, in a common area.
I saw these gloves and I grabbed them in the morning since I needed gloves for a project.
I used these gloves all morning and even helping another department with a project they needed done.
This coworker then told me at lunch that they were covered in his blood and someone else's piss.
He never told us WHY these gloves were covered in blood and piss.
And when me and a couple coworkers told him that he needed to throw them in the trash, he REFUSED, yelling at us that the gloves were HIS gloves. He then refused to store them away in his duffel bag, put them on, and stormed off to continue working.
I went and filed a report with our safety department and HR. I am have also asked HR to provide me with testing since I handled those bloody gloves for hours without knowing.

I am so glad that I put in my two weeks the other day.
But man hoping I didn't get anything since I felt micro cuts on my hands later in the day.
