I didn't spend a month full of sleepless nights trying to get my now ex-boyfriend out of Russia into a safe place because he was morified that he would be beaten and potentially murdered because he's a pervert — I did that because he's a person worthy of respect, dignity and kindness.
I didn't pick up phone calls in the middle of the night from sobbing friends who are suicidal because they're perverts. I did it because someone fucking needed to be kind to them. I did it because they need SOMEONE who cares.
I can't tell you how many people end up in really fucked up situations because their family, the people who are supposed to LOVE THEM no matter what turned their back on them.
They want to be seen, they want to be heard, they want to be LOVED. What the fuck is wrong with you where you DO NOT SEE THAT.
If you genuinely think shit like this, I hope you never have children. If you have children, I hope you realize that your love for them is conditional.
