Ticket office closed, use ticket machine, ticket machine out of service, use website, website requires login setup, inner leg measurement, and soul of firstborn child. Argh, make this easy for me FFS.
Decide not to bother.
This is why I drive everywhere.
(Presumably answer is to jump on train anyway and assume it can be resolved should you come across a ticket inspector or exit barrier. But it's still just deeply disincentivising.)
