I drove about 250 miles on a leaking run flat tire, but I had an inflator with me and kept filling whenever it got down to 15-20psi from recommended 35psi. I never actually drove on it with less than 15psi.
I know if I say I drove 250 miles since noticing the leak, Discount Tire won't fix it. But IMO when the tire says "drive 50 miles on it flat" that means FLAT not 50%+ inflated.
Tires have about 5000 miles on them.
Safe to fix?
