As a nerd with tremendous curiosity, my attention was captured by printing news of the recent hot topic of one former VP of Baidu. Then I googled a video as below at global platform. Here are a few thoughts in mind immediately.
1. From individual perspective, I assume this lady confused her true personal skills or expertise Versus the resources that provided to her along the career. Simply put it, it’s the ultimately evidence of a result when people have non-clear self-awareness.
2. From corporate perspective, if Baidu was doomed to be blamed in this heated topics, the fair point should be the criterial of giant corporate in selecting Right people for positions should be judged by True talents/skills/expertise rather than seemingly potential network resources. Simply put it, there is no guarantee for a resource potential exploitation if you chose the wrong person (him or her).
