I have sympathy for feelings that come along with the extra uncertainty that comes along with these massive changes.
Ethics definitely is a problem I worry about. But it's more the ethics of people using the systems than the systems itself that worry me.

Energy usage debates generally seem like hogwash conversations to me. People see the use of energy as bad and never take a formula where the output value is accounted for. Next to that the whole debate mostly looks political to me and has nothing to do with how we make better civilizations.
There's plenty of energy, we just don't know how to harness it efficiently. And getting better at that is the whole point of civilisations and societies in the first place if you ask me.
