The horrors unleashed by Israel are not our own alone. The complicity of Western nations is so thorough that it will have repercussions for years to come on how any genocide is discussed.
We now live in a world where a people that survived genocide in the 1940s chose to commit a genocide less than a century later. And I’m not sure we are ready as a species for what this means for us all.
