i am single, 40 and emotionally well adjusted.
and it took years to arrive here.
but yet,
current prospects are weird because:
- partner needs to be unvaccinated
- partner needs to be biologically female, and not want or think they're male.
- partner needs to possess high intellect, or at least high curiosity and pattern recognition skills, have manners, and understand things like mercy, common decency, and the basic mechanics of human nature.
-partner needs to not be weirded out that I'm Christian, and not interested in church.
-partner should again be biologically female, and interested both in having conversations and comfortable enough with long periods of silence.
then there's a few other things that are pretty normal and get worked out in real time, like sharing responsibility, and whatnot. but
