It’s sad that so many people have been falling for this scam. Inexperienced users are sold “bitcoin investments” and provided with an address that they think is theirs, and see the balance going up, so they buy bitcoin and deposit it there. Unbeknownst to them, the wallet belongs to the scammer. Once they’ve milked the victim for enough bitcoin, they rug the balance and vanish.
