Locally run AI is still shit, server run AI just became useful, but still kinda shit.
The progress is incredible, but it's still way too early for these gimmicks.
I watched the Ted Talk for this and I was like; what a stupid product. Six years later and $230M raised from investors like Sam Altman from OpenAi and it’s a flop. The founders were both from Apple. How can so many talented people not see that just because something is kind of cool in a demo; it doesn’t mean it’s a good product that people will be willing to pay $700 for?
