Well, i think #HurricaneBeryl has done her thing here and the system is headed up north.

Thank you all for the well-wishes and good mojo. We were very lucky to have come out of this unscathed and with our power still up and running. It’s weird how our electric grid is though because we have friends on the other side of the neighborhood less than a mile away (1.6km) who are without power. They’ve been told it could be four to five days.

Last I heard there are approximately 2million people in the Houston metro area without power.

This sucks. It really sucks.
