The Marxist religion teaches that utopia on Earth will be achieved once everything "evil" has been purged. It is therefore the duty of every cultist to seek out and destroy ("cancel") everything that does not comport with their worldview. Marxism has no concept of "live and let live". Its adherents truly cannot be happy so long as anything non-Marxist exists in the world.
This is why Marxism is the most dangerous religion the world has ever seen.
