corps used to spend money on salaries, research, & development in order to avoid the top tiers of corporate taxes. money was literally trickling down by design #rpb
when those taxes were removed corps did the only rational thing, which was use the insane profits to offshore all of the manufacturing & related labour & support infrastructures to countries with cheaper costs. entire cities, states, were wiped out.
so if we’re going to have enough piss for Reagan’s grave, we gotta stay hydrated.
