Wdym??? Deorbiting ore/ingots like fucking meteors is very likeky to cause collateral damage... and where do you deorbit them at? The middle of the ocean? The middle of Wyoming? The middle of Kazakhastan?
Infeasible to do that on a large scale.
And transporting it on ships like a Sci Fi movie seems like a distant dream.
