#BookReview for "The Blank Slate: The Modern Denial of Human Nature" by Steven Pinker
Meh
22 hour potpourri of thoughts about human nature.
At beginning, author says colleagues said there was no need for this book. The author failed to convince me they were wrong.
Author says many people are convinced personality is 0% nature, 100% nurture. I feel most people already believe genetics to be a factor.
Several good anecdotes, like about the chicken-shovel experiment, but they're from other books.
