Yes you have a decent idea of app sales. Though SaaS subscriptions are huge.
Veilid basically eliminates ads, SaaS and possibly app store sales as obvious revenue sources.
Imo app stores are dying, due to apple/google privacy abuse and more sideloading options coming to all OSes. Especially true for Open Source.
So basically going 100% in on Veilid leaves you only with app-sales and donations which is pretty tenuous for building more software.
