Thousands of Rohingya are fleeing Myanmar after being targeted by the Arakan Army, a rebel group that has seized control of much of Rakhine state. The group has been shelling villages, forcing Rohingya to leave their homes, and reportedly rounding up groups of men. The UN official says that a coordinated attack took place on August 5, where Rohingya were forced to flee to a riverbank and then targeted by explosive-laden drones.
