It’s interesting… I read the part about how the US refused to engage in discussion, even after the kill switch offer.
To me, that suggests they *know* that user data is being sent to the CCP (because of course it is).
Agreed though, the gov’t is not doing this to protect people from surveillance/invasion of privacy, just to keep China out.
