Last week, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved BlackRock's proposal to list and trade options for its spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund, the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (ticker: IBIT). Companies like Grayscale and Bitwise are also seeking to list and trade options for their spot bitcoin ETFs following the SEC's approval of 11 spot BTC ETFs in January.
