with all the discourse around Cara I think we probably all need to remember that different people have different needs/desires when it comes to platforms and its ok that these can be fulfilled in different ways. While I am of the view that a more open (e.g. codewise) and interoperable (e.g. Activity Pub intergration) would be amazing, and it is true that an "artist silo" isn't for everyone [1/2]
