samah (npub19pj…lenu) and I, once again, watched our 2-year old #LittleMan confidently approach other kids today, most older, this time at the library. He says hello, introduces himself, asks if they like [bananas | trucks | etc], only to be met with silence. It’s not that I think he’s remarkable (he is), but that I’m saddened by how not once, that I’ve observed, has another child responded in kind.
What is this? Patently ingrained fear? Wide-scale introversion? Something else? #dadstr
