On nostr I spend a considerably lower amount of time scrolling and refreshing. I can look through the feed for a bit, try to refresh and realize there's nothing new at the moment and then just close it. It's nice. As opposed to birdsite where you refresh and see more garbage that's grabbing your attention and giving you a tiny dopamine hit. But the hit is a negative exponent in effect each time, demanding more frequent interactions. Forget that noise 🤙
