i may not know all details, i do think it's very likely the victim has said the truth. but is there a reason why you believe the victim?
one part of my mind is always nagging, humans can be shitty creatures sometimes.
i know some kinda acquaintance that got hit by the full force of the law for possession of csam, confiscated all electronic devices for years. and in the end it was an insane ex taking revenge just after a breakup. they never found any material.
