Why it took so long!? Here’s what happened ⬇️

Apparently there around 4K Salvadoreans in Barcelona. I spoke with the embassy people and they said that they didn’t expect that much participation this year. By 7 pm the participation was around +1K, so… let’s say 25% of salvadoreans here. And there were just 3 voting ballot box. That’s why it took so long.

I get it’s the first time doing Voting outside El Salvador around the world so… it’s ok. They need to learn from this and do it better next time.

People were waiting in the line for more than 4 hours and they didn’t leave! They wanted to vote! That’s so awesome! 🇸🇻

BUT the actual process of voting took me about 30 seconds! It was so efficient, so fast, and so simple! Great job! I mean… amazing! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Anyways… I voted, my family, my friends voted. Did it worth the time!?

We’re not going back! Let’s continue building a new El Salvador! 5 more years!
