I'll be honest I had no idea Gus Walz had any kind of special needs and when I saw him crying with pride saying "that's my dad!" my heart exploded, any father would be so lucky to have earned that kind of love and respect from their son.
It didn't even occur to me that it was something to make fun of until right wingers started doing it afterwards, and I learned via replies explaining that it's okay for him to be emotional because he's got learning disabilities.
It was okay anyway, it's rad.
