Perhaps if we'd seriously embraced carbon offsets with a realistic pricing 60 years ago and enforced them rigorously. we'd be in a place where dramatic action wouldn't be necessary. But we are out of time. We were out of time thirty years ago! Now the end is in sight.

Only dramatic, systemic change will work. Tiny little measures involving sucking capitalism's [member] a little deeper hoping we can go a few more years before radical change simply doom us even more.
