I finally watched the Barbie movie, and honestly it seemed like a mediocre knockoff of Toy Story.
I appreciate that I'm not exactly the target audience, but trust me I *get* it; I approve of the message, and in some ways it's gobsmacking that Mattel allowed this to be made, but it still felt like a movie that was all moral and no substance.
